Samini Donates ¢51,000 To Kwabena Kwabena’s Save A Life Foundation

Reggae/dancehall artiste Emmanuel Andrews Samini popularly known as Samini has donated $16,000 (GH51,000) to Kwabena Kwabena’s Save A Life Foundation. The musician made the contribution at the ‘Save A Life Concert’ held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel on Saturday 22 November 2014.
The amount donated by the top Ghanaian musician according to the organizers of the show, will pay for two heart patients to undergo free heart surgery at the National Cardiothoracic Centre of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Samini after the donation also entertained audience to some of his hit songs.
Other personalities who donated at the concert were Sammy Crabbe, Second Vice Chairman of the NPP (donated $16,000); and Dr. Michael Abu Sakara Foster, 2014 Presidential candidate of the CPP ($8,000).
Artistes who performed at Kwabena Kwabena’s 2014 Save A Life Concert were Tagoe Sisters, Yaw Sarpong and Asomafo, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Stella Seal, Pat Thomas, M.anifest and Becca.
Samini will celebrate his 10 years anniversary with an event dubbed Saminifest which kicks off on December 3 and climaxed with a mega concert at the Trade Fair Center in Accra on December 6.
