Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal-scoring form for Real Madrid is ‘breaking’ Football Manager

Ronaldo is so good he's BREAKING Football Manager

There will be plenty of things that Cristiano Ronaldo expected to break this season – goal-scoring records, opposing defenders’ morale, the hearts of girls across the world – but he probably didn’t anticipate that Football Manager would be added to that list.
That’s exactly the case, though, as the football management simulator is struggling to keep up with the Real Madrid star’s sensational form.
The 29-year-old has been scoring for fun this season, and Miles Jacobson – the director of the team behind Football Manager – admitted in an interview with Gamereactor that Ronaldo’s strike-rate is proving quite problematic for them.
‘Spain just proves that football is bonkers with Ronaldo. What is it 14 goals in 8 games now? [17 goals in 9 league games is his current tally],’ Jacobson said.
‘So yeah, Spain are basically trying to break our match engine, which has caused a few problems during testing. Because we like to get these things right and get them balanced.’
The game is set to be released this week, but Ronaldo will be looking to keep making life hard for the Football Manager team when his Real Madrid side host Liverpool on Tuesday evening.
