Falcao Blasts 'Foolish Lies' About Knee Injury

Default
Manchester United striker, Radamel Falcao, has blasted ‘foolish lies’ about his ongoing knee problems.
The Colombian, who spend several months out injured and missed the World Cup this summer after suffering cruciate ligament damage while playing for Monaco in January, has been left out of Colmbia’s squad for the upcoming internationals.
Reports indicated Falcao needs to put ice on his troublesome knee after every training session and match to prevent further damage.
However, Falcao responded furiously denying such claims via Twitter: “One fool speculates. A few others lacking objectivity respond and millions believe lies. It is disastrous what a few fools can do.”
Falcao made a move to Manchester United on a season-long loan this summer, but his time in England has been far from expected.
The striker has battled minor injury problems all season, scoring just one goal in five appearances for the Red Devils.
It is not clear why Falcao has not made the Colombia squad for the friendly against the United States at Craven Cottage in London on Friday.
If Falcao cannot shake off his injury problems, his one-year loan may be his inly time spent in Manchester.
