Neymar Not Focusing On Pele’s Record

Barcelona superstar, Neymar, has played down reports that he is aiming to break Pele's goal-scoring record for Brazil.
Neymar, scored four goals against Japan last time out for Brazil and has now got 40 goals in just 58 appearances for the national side.
The legendary Pele netted 95 times in 114 
games
 for Brazil, but Neymar is refusing to be dwell on his chances of breaking the long-standing record.
'We are talking about (breaking records), but my goal is not to exceed Pele, I just want to help my teammates,” Neymar told Globo.
'Many things have happened in my life, ups and downs, joys and disappointments.'
Selecao play Turkey on Wednesday before finishing 2014 with a visit to Austria and the 22-year-old, has claimed that he is looking to end the international calendar on a high.
'I am elated to represent (Brazil) once again and I want to close this year with a flourish,” he added.
'We will work in the coming days to work out an ideal way to face the opponents.'
Neymar has scored 12 goals in 14 appearances for his club side Barcelona this season so far.
