Guardiola Tips Enrique To Succeed Barca

Bayern Munich coach, Pep Guardiola, has praised Barcelona’s Luis Enrique and insisted that the Austurian will be a success at the club.
Guardiola was in Barcelona to vote in an unofficial poll for Catalan independence when he told reporters that, despite Enrique’s shortcomings at the early stages of the season, he will grow into a good coach for his former club.
“He’s going to be a success", he told AS.
"Everything in life needs time. Football is a process. You don’t turn up and by November you’re champions of everything. Everything takes time, everything needs work. Sometimes things go so smoothly, sometimes they are a bit tougher. I only hope I don’t meet them in the Champions League”.
The 2009-treble-winning manager went on to comment about Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid side, before discussing Gerrard Pique’s commitment to the Spanish national team, despite his desire for Catalan independence.
“Madrid have always been strong,” he added.
“Gerard, like any player who is with the Spanish side, like myself, will put all his passion into it, and will want to do as well as possible.”
